Best Rated Vacuum Cleaner for 2008?

Best Rated Vacuum, Best Rated Vacuum Cleaner, Best Rated Cordless Vacuums! It seems like the search is endless. I can remember the day when we didn’t even have these electrical suckers to help with the housework. We used to have what is know as a simple Carpet Sweeper.  Basically, a carpet sweeper was a little rectangular box with wheels and brushes attached to a long handles, which got pushed across the carpets by mum as it picked up the worst of the dirt along the way. Nowadays, it’s not enough to just have an electrical and electronic all singing all dancing Carpet  Cleaning Machine aswe are always looking out for the best of the best in today’s products!  But all they do is suck up the dirt, so how much better can they actually get for crying out loud!  Perhaps the real choices are really just a question of cosmetic preference!
