Learning About Water Aerobics
When doing water aerobics all you have to do is change the speed in which you exercise and this will change the amount of physical exertion you put into it. This is why water aerobics will suit any need your body requires. When you are in water your body is buoyant which puts less strain on your muscles and joints. This is why it is so great for people that have restricted movement and limited abilities. They don’t have to worry about making any medical condition they suffer from worse while trying to stay in shape. Water aerobics is referred to as “non-weight bearing exercise” because your weight is supported by the water instead of your lower extremities.
Many people love the fact that even though you may be sweating from the exercises you still feel cool and comfortable because you are performing them in cool water. It is best to exercise in pools where you can control the water temperature to ensure the water is not to hot or to cold. However, as long as it is comfortable water aerobics can be performed anywhere. The great thing about exercising in water is that you don’t even have to know how to swim to do them because the water is usually only about waist deep.
