When Laptop Battery Meets Toddler

My dear child decided that it would fun to dunk my spare laptop battery in the toilet and see what happened. Thank God the battery wasn’t connected to the computer.  My son was okay, but the battery is ruined. I went to the manufacturer’s site and nearly had a heart attack. They wanted several hundred bucks. So, I set my little fingers to searching and found a laptop battery that costs less than half what they wanted and it will work perfectly with my computer. I plan to keep my spare battery in a high place, at least until my son grows out of his dunking stage.
